We write in response to your May 31, 2019 request for information pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act (APRA). Your specific request is noted below along with our corresponding response.
Under the provisions of the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act and the Rhode Island state unclaimed property statutes, I hereby request a complete list of the Rhode Island unclaimed property data reported 07/1/2012 to 12/31/2012. Having requested the unclaimed property data several months ago under request #18-125, I noticed that the PDF provided under this provision for the above time period was incomplete, as pages 2-300 are a copy of the same page of data. This request is for the corrected document with the complete set of data for the aforementioned time period.
Please find attached the document responsive to your request.
If you contend you have been denied access to public records, pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 38-2-8, you may appeal this decision to Amy L. Crane, General Counsel, 50 Service Avenue, 2nd Floor, Warwick, RI 02886. You may also file a complaint with the Department of the Attorney General, 150 South Main Street, Providence, RI 02903 or the Rhode Island Superior Court of the county where the records are maintained.
