We write in response to your May 29, 2019 request for information pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act (APRA). Your specific request is noted below along with our corresponding response.
I'm looking to obtain, on a state level, all of the state's unclaimed property records. I work for a 3rd party vendor that sells public record information and we would like to incorporate Unclaimed property data.
Information responsive to your request can be found on the Unclaimed Property page of Treasury's website at https://findrimoney.com/ or attached at the following link: https://ritreasury.nextrequest.com/requests/18-125. Please be advised that the Office of the General Treasurer is not required to reorganize, consolidate, or compile data not maintained in the form requested pursuant to R.I.G.L. §38-2-3(h).
If you contend you have been denied access to public records, pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 38-2-8, you may appeal this decision to Amy L. Crane, General Counsel, 50 Service Avenue, 2nd Floor, Warwick, RI 02886. You may also file a complaint with the Department of the Attorney General, 150 South Main Street, Providence, RI 02903 or the Rhode Island Superior Court of the county where the records are maintained.
