I am requesting a copy of the recent third party auditor Work in Progress Reports (Kelmar Associates, LLC, Audit Services, Verus, Discovery Audit Services, Treasury Services Group, etc.) in connection with entities under unclaimed property reporting audit by the Rhode Island Office of the General Treasurer. Please include the following information for each entity - Name of Entity, Entity FEIN, Type of Audit (property type), Last Activity Date, and Status.
Please find attached the documents responsive to your request. Note that the documents have been redacted pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws § 38-2-2(4)(B) & (K) to protect notes, working papers, work products, and financial information that is of a privileged or confidential nature. Be advised that pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws § 38-2-3(h), the Office of the General Treasurer is not required to reorganize, consolidate, or compile data not maintained by the Office in the form requested.
If you contend you have been denied access to public records, pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws §38-2-8, you may appeal this decision to Amy L.
