Pursuant to the state open records law R.I. Gen. Laws Secs. 38-2-1 to 38-2-15, I am writing to request the State of Rhode Island's most recent Outstanding Checks - Write Off List. Please provide me with the date in which this list was last updated as well as the date in which this list will next be updated.
Please find attached the documents responsive to your request. This list is updated at the end of the fiscal year, which is June 30.
If you contend you have been denied access to public records, pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 38-2-8, you may appeal this decision to Amy L. You may also file a complaint with the Department of the Attorney General, 150 South Main Street, Providence, RI 02903 or the Rhode Island Superior Court of the county where the records are maintained.
