We recently submitted a proposal in response to RFP No. 2018-002 for the Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island. I was writing to request the scores of the responses to this RFP as well as the public records from a meeting on Wednesday January 16th that was conducted to discuss the responses to this RFP.

The Office of the General Treasurer does not currently have an executed contract as a result of the RFP for Member Service Survey Services (RFP No. 2018-002).  The requested scores of the responses to the RFP are protected from disclosure until such time as the contract is entered into, pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws section 38-2-2(4)(II)(B) and (I). You may resubmit your request within the next 45 days and once the contract process is complete and the documents become public, we will forward the requested documents.  You may review the public records from the ERSRI board meeting on Wednesday, January 16th at the following link:   

If you contend you have been denied access to public records, pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 38-2-8, you may appeal this decision to Frank Karpinski, Executive Director of ERSRI, 50 Service Avenue, 2nd Floor, Warwick, RI 02886.  You may also file a complaint with the Department of the Attorney General, 150 South Main Street, Providence, RI  02903 or the Rhode Island Superior Court of the county where the records are maintained.
