Lammis Vargas
State of Rhode Island
Unclaimed Property Division
50 Service Avenue
Warwick, RI 02901-1435

Dear Ms. Vargas,

Pursuant to the State of Rhode Island's Public Records Law, R.I. Gen. Laws Secs. 38-2-1 to 38-2-15, on behalf of
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC"), I am requesting copies of updated records concerning property escheated in
compliance with R.l. Gen. Laws Sec. 33-21.1-1.

PwC is only interested in receiving records pertaining to non-natural persons (businesses). PwC is not seeking any
records which could invoke a personal privacy exemption. Please also note, that none of the information requested
by PwC will be used to solicit owners or third parties. In addition, we understand that the State of Rhode Island may
have a waiting period associated with the recovery of abandoned property. If the State of Rhode Island maintains
such a policy, PwC is only requesting records that that are outside of the applicable waiting period.

Ideally, the released records should include the owner's name, the owner's last known address, the amount reported,
a property identification number, a description of the type of property, the date reported, the holder's name, and the
holder's contact information.

In compliance with R.I. Gen. Laws Secs. 38-2-1 to 38-2-15, if you deny any part of this request, pursuant to R.I.
Gen. Laws Secs. 38-2-1 to 38-2-15, please provide a written explanation for the denial, including a reference to the
specific statutory exemption(s) upon which you rely. Additionally, if you deem any portion of these records subject
to an exemption, please segregate those records from production and provide all non-exempt records.

I would like to receive these records electronically or on a CD, preferably in a delimited text file or excel format. I
understand that there may be a fee associated with fulfilling this request. Please accept this letter as our commitment
to pay all reasonable expenses totaling no more than $150.00. If the cost is expected to exceed this amount, please
notify me.

If your agency is not the custodian of these records, please provide me with the custodian's contact information. As
provided by Rl. Gen. Laws Sec. 38-2-7(a), I will expect your response within ten (10) business days.

Please direct all correspondence and records to:
