I am writing to request a copy of proxy votes cast by the ERSRI Fund. Please let me know if this request is sufficient or if there is a more formal process required to submit a public records request. Specifically I am seeking proxy votes cast between June 30, 2015 and June 30, 2016 on U.S. equities. We are primarily interested in the votes at S&P 500 companies. As you may be aware, many fund publicly disclose their votes. Funds that disclose include: CalPERS, CALSTRS, Colorado PERA, Pennsylvania Public School Retirement, and Employees Retirement System of Texas. If you currently disclose votes or have plans to do so, please let us know.
If the voting is done by external equity managers then please identify which investment manager(s) (and which of their products) handle your US large cap company votes. If the voting is done according to a proxy voting service please let us know which one and whether you always follow recommendations.
Also, I would like to know if your fund is actively considering revising its guidelines on voting on executive compensation matters.
